Welcome to This is Our Queens, a project from Dave Kerpen and more important, the people of Queens. This site is dedicated to sharing the incredible strength, diversity and beauty of the people of Queens, New York with the rest of the world. The project features the photographs of Queens-based photographer Michelle Kawka and currently includes photos of people who grew up in , live in, and work in Queens, representing over 25 countries and 6 continents. We are looking for Queens-based folks from dozens more countries and Australia and Antarctica – do contact us if you can help us achieve this goal, or if you’d like to join our team.
